We were delighted to have a special visit arranged with
Dino Baptiste, who held a keyboard seminar Saturday 23rd August 2008
Dino is without doubt the most talented boogie blues keyboard player on the scene today.
He has worked with such luminaries as; The Blues Band, Lulu, Dana Gillespie, Rolf Harris,
Whitesnake guitarist Bernie Marsden, Leo Sayer, Mungo Jerry, and even legendary Stones frontman Mick Jagger.
His CD 'Two Timing Lover Boy' is a must have in any collection, Check out his website for live dates

Class of 2007
Bluescamp is a three day event of blues and rock performance classes, workshops and seminars.
For guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboard players and vocalists, the event is designed to place you in a live environment.
Whilst a lot of other courses may only concentrate on one instrument, we run Bluescamp as a 'whole band concept'
so you can experience first hand what it is like to be part of and perform in a band.
You may be thinking 'How good do I have to be?' Well. Just as good as you are right now will be fine.
We cater for the complete beginner to the experienced player.
We know there is no substitute for playing in a band. With this in mind, we have designed Bluescamp to be a very 'hands on'
weekend, so you will certainly have scope for lots of playing. But it will not be a weekend of open mic sessions,
or disorganised jam sessions. The staff, who are all professional musicians and tutors,
are on hand to provide coaching and guidance to improve your skills throughout the day.
The subjects covered will include live performance tips, song writing, practice techniques, care of equipment, chord theory,
scale theory, different rhythms, getting the right sound in the studio and on stage, history of the blues, and much more.
This event is growing in popularity.
Places are limited, and demand is high. So if you wish to be part of the experience, now really is the time to book!
Why not take a look at the tutors page and meet the guys who run Bluescamp.
Then go to the venue page to see the fabulous location we have. And if that stirs your interest....
'We all look forward to seeing you at Bluescamp 2009'
Josh Jewsbury
